Speak, Learn and Grow is joining up with Early Links (Occupational Therapists) to offer a unique parent training seminar:
“Preparing my child for kindergarten”
From our speech pathologists, you will learn about:
- Synthetic phonics approach to reading
- Letter-sound correspondence
- Developing sound awareness skills
- Speech and language development
From the occupational therapists, you will learn about:
- Fostering curiosity for learning
- Self-care in the school setting
- Play & friendships
- Pre-writing skills
The first event will be free and available to everyone online on Tuesday 2nd September from 7-8 pm, followed by Q&A.
We will then be offering an advanced course on Tuesday 21st October for $49.00.
